Capitol Christian Music Group Honored With 10 GRAMMY® Nominations

Honorees represented in five categories across Capitol Christian Music Group, including Label Group, Publishing, Commercial Partnerships and Motown Gospel


Nashville, Tenn. (December 13, 2016) — Capitol Christian Music Group (Capitol CMG) earned 10 nominations for the 59th Annual GRAMMY® Awards, representing honorees in five different categories. Nominees represent all of Capitol CMG's entities including Capitol CMG Label Group, Capitol CMG Publishing, Commercial Partnerships and Motown Gospel.

"We are excited and proud of our artists, songwriters, and strategic label partners who are recognized by the Recording Academy as nominees," said Capitol Christian Music Group Senior Vice President, Hudson Plachy. "Across all our divisions, we congratulate the nominees for their extraordinary work this year and are grateful to the academy voters for acknowledging their efforts and creativity."

The Recording Academy will present the 59th GRAMMY® Awards on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, live from Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 pm ET/5–8:30 pm PT.

Capitol Christian Music Group Honored With 41 GMA Dove Award Nominations

Nashville, Tenn. (August 15, 2016) — Capitol Christian Music Group (Capitol CMG) earned 41 nominations for the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards, representing honorees in such major categories as Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year. Nominees represent all of Capitol CMG's entities including Capitol CMG Label Group, Capitol Christian Distribution, Capitol CMG Publishing and Motown Gospel. 

"We are grateful to have an incredibly talented and hard working roster of artists who convey artistic credibility and the vision to impact lives with their music," shares Capitol Christian Music Group President, Peter York. The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville at 6:30 p.m. CST. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will exclusively air the awards show on Sunday, October 16, reaching over 100 million viewers in the U.S., plus global and multi-platform distribution.
