Fair Trade Services Honored with Nine Dove Award Nominations

MercyMe, Phil Wickham, Laura Story and Phillips, Craig & Dean Among Artists Garnering Recognition


Nashville, Tenn (Aug. 24, 2015) - Fair Trade Services garnered a total of nine nominations for the upcoming 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards.  Multi-Dove Award winning band MercyMe took honors in top categories, including “Artist of the Year,” Song of the Year” (for their 16 week No. 1 “Greater”), “Songwriter of the Year” (for Bart Millard) and Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year.  Phil Wickham’s “This Is Amazing Grace” gathered nominations for “Song of the Year” and “Worship Song of the Year” as well as earned Wickham a nod for “Songwriter of the Year.” “O Love of God” from Laura Story is up for “Inspirational Song of the Year." Phillips, Craig & Dean's Above It All earned the Dove Award Winners a nod in the "Inspirational Album of the Year" category.

The 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards, hosted by Erica Campbell and Sadie Robertson, will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 13, live from Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. and will air exclusively on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 18th at 9:00 p.m (CST). 

On the heels of the announcement of their upcoming holiday project, MercyMe, It’s Christmas!, MercyMe’s current single “Flawless" is No. 1 at Billboard Christian AC Monitored/Indicator, Soft AC and National Christian Audience Charts as well as in the top spot on the iTunes ® Christian Top Songs Chart. Story will debut her latest book “When God Doesn’t Fix It” on Sept. 15 while her current single “Till I Met You” is impacting radio. Following up his BMI “Christian Song of the Year” distinction, Wickham is currently in the studio working on his sixth studio project to release in April 2016. Phillips, Craig & Dean will embark on "Michael W. Smith's Celebration of Songs & Stories Tour" alongside Smith and Mark Lowry in late Sept.

Nashville, Tenn (August 19, 2015) — GRAMMY® and Billboard Music Award winner Chris Tomlin saw his longtime vision come to life last week as more than 35,000 people came together for Worship Night In America events, selling out NYC's Madison Square Garden, Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheater and Sacramento's Sleep Train Arena.

The inaugural events brought people together for a time of worship and prayer for the nation and featured special guests Louie Giglio, Max Lucado, Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Rend Collective, Israel Houghton, Matt Maher, Phil Wickham and Hillsong's Reuben Morgan. Fox News and Digital Journal covered the Madison Square Garden event, remarking that it was "jaw-dropping" and that it "captivated NYC."

This October, Tomlin will release a brand new Christmas album ADORE: Christmas Songs of Worship. The album is the follow up to his RIAA Gold Certified 2012 Christmas project, Glory In The Highest and was recorded live at Ocean Way Recording Studios in Nashville. ADORE features special guests Crowder, Lauren Daigle and All Sons & Daughters. Tomlin will head out on a Christmas tour in support of the album, set to launch December 5 in Knoxville, TN (see tour routing below).

Christmas dates will follow the second leg of the “Love Ran Red Tour," featuring Ireland's Rend Collective, which has already been the biggest tour of Tomlin's career. 

As fans continue to respond to Love Ran Red, singles continue to climb the charts. Tomlin recently tied the record for most top tens in the history of Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart as his current hit, "At the Cross (Love Ran Red)" broke into the top ten. Tomlin also garnered four 2015 GMA Dove Award nominations last week including Contemporary Christian Artist of Year, Worship Album of the year and Worship Song of the Year.
