Aimed at children, ages 4-8, and the young at heart, this keepsake picture book — illustrated by Jacqui Davis — captures the hilarious White House mischief of Tad Lincoln and reminds us of the importance of one child in the life of a father — and a nation.

Filled with Tad’s imaginative hijinks, The Magnificent Mischief of Tad Lincoln also paints the portrait of a doting, grieving father, who after losing his oldest son to a deadly fever, grows even more attached to young Tad. Against the backdrop of the Civil War, the 8-year-old provides moments of joy, laughter and hope to his father on his darkest days. In turn, his dad subtly teaches Tad important life lessons about mercy and forgiveness as he pardons real-life soldiers, toys and even a Thanksgiving Day turkey at the insistence of his son. In this “Turnabout Tale,” Arroyo explores how Tad’s beloved “Paw,” as Tad called the president, recognized wisdom in his son’s innate mercy and how, together, they created a national tradition that continues to this day.

“As his father reviewed pardons in his office, late into the night, Tad would often fall asleep next to his desk.Lincoln’s cabinet famously hated pardon requests to reach the president personally. He had a soft spot for those in distress — a sensitivity his personal losses only deepened,” Arroyo observes of the president, who granted pardons for more than 82% of the requests he received over the course of his four years in office. “His generosity and mercy, even amid a bloody war, is a constant theme of his presidency and a huge part of Tad’s story.”

It was Tad and President Lincoln who began the tradition of the White House Thanksgiving turkey pardon — a custom U.S. presidents still observe to this day — after Tad begged his father not to let the kitchen staff cook the bird he had adopted as a friend and playmate. Lincoln established Thanksgiving as a national holiday in 1863, that same momentous year, which also saw the esteemed president sign the Emancipation Proclamation and deliver the Gettysburg Address.

August 18, 2023 -  NBC The Voice finalist and Capitol CMG recording artist Jeremy Rosado's debut radio single, "Come and See" is impacting stations nationwide and now available, along with a lyric video, across all DSP's today. A soaring pop selection co-penned with Jeff Pardo and Hank Bentley, Rosado wrote the song for his sister, who — after nearly two decades of addiction — is currently months into her sobriety journey.

“I wrote this song believing that one day she would be in the crowd singing this song as the testimony of her life,” Rosado said just after his dream became reality as he performed at a concert and looked out into the audience to see his sister — hands raised, eyes closed — singing every word to “Come and See” by heart.

“This song means so much to me simply because of the desperate place I wrote it out of. And here I am watching God perform a miracle in front of my eyes,” Rosado attests. “I didn’t know that God was going to give me a miracle this fast.” 

The track is a follow-up to his debut digital track with the label, "Believe You Will, which Rosado also performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show. 

Rosado has had a busy career since coming off The Voice, spending last fall with The Newsboys on their STAND Together Tour, and this fall joining Tasha Layton on the road in addition to headlining his own shows at select churches across the country.

Downs partnered with fellow author and podcaster Carlos Whittaker for the "Here For You Tour" this June, raising over $45,000 for local small businesses along the way.  Each night they featured a local small business owner and surprised them with a mini- giving blitz amongst the audience, providing a tangible way for the local community to engage and rally around one of its own on a deeply human level.  

Prior to the tour kickoff, both Downs and Whittaker explained on their socials how local businesses could enter to win the chance to have a table in the lobby at each city's tour stop. As a team they worked through the hundreds of responses to choose one in each city, and a week prior to the show, informed each local small business about also bringing them on stage at the end of the evening, where they were then surprised with the generosity of their local community.

Nashville, TN... (April 28, 2023)  - More new music from multi-platinum, six-time GRAMMY-winner Amy Grant is available today with the release of her latest single and lyric video, "What You Heard." Available across all DSP's today, the track follows Grant's first release in over a decade, the song "Trees We'll Never See," which NPR called, "a testament to Grant's taste and temperament," and on which she "sings in a voice that's turned amber with time."  Grant recently sang the track during an Earth Day event with Pepperdine University as they planted fruit trees at the Frederick K. C. Price III Christian School campus, Pepperdine’s original location (photo below).

Co-written with Natalie Hemby and Barry Dean, Grant speaks of the important message of "What You Heard," saying, "This song came directly from a therapy session with one of my kids. Sharing a bloodline with someone does not guarantee a relationship. Relationship requires showing up and listening. It takes practice to build a better communication tool kit and on the other side, sharpen our receptors; but it’s worth the effort to keep trying, to keep communicating. At 62 I still have a lot to learn.”

"There’s a reason Amy is a hall of fame writer," GRAMMY-winning co-writer Natalie Hemby adds in talking about the songwriting session with Grant. "She takes her personal experiences and runs them through a lens we can all see through and relate to. The day that she, Barry, and I wrote this, she was sharing her own missteps in some of her closest relationships… how you think you think your words are reaching out to someone, when, in fact, they are only pushing them away. It was deeply personal for her, but I found it was deeply personal for me too."

Grant will wrap her spring tour run on May 9, followed by a handful of summer shows leading up to the completion of 70 performances across the U.S. in 2023.  Also recently announced was one of Music City’s most treasured traditions with Grant and husband Vince Gill’s beloved “Christmas at the Ryman” residency. The 12-concert run is scheduled for December 13-14, 16-17, 19-20 and 22-23 and will once again feature matinee performances of the beloved show.  Tickets are on sale now and will only be available for purchase at ryman.com.

April 28, 2023 - Colton Dixon's 7-song EP, CANVAS (Atlantic), is available today, including his latest hit, the highly-anticipated new single, "My Light," leaping to No. 24 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart this week with over 50 Key markets spinning the song including SiriusXM, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, St. Louis, Kansas City, Nashville, and Orlando. In support of his latest musical endeavor, Dixon will perform on FOX & Friends May 21st, as well as onThe Kelly Clarkson Show on June 8th.

CANVAS and "My Light" follow the biggest song of Dixon's career to-date "Build A Boat," which, at 10 weeks became the longest running No. 1 Mediabase Christian AC song of 2022, also spawning "Build A Boat (feat. Gabby Barrett),"with MULTI-PLATINUM and award-winning Country star Gabby Barrett.  Both tracks follow his Atlantic Record's debut and No.1 song, "Miracles," which also boasts over 94 million global streams.

Speaking of the CANVAS EP, Dixon notes how “Life is all about perspective - how we view the various seasons that life has to offer.
