Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 28, 2017) - After 19 years as a full-service management company, BrickHouse Entertainment has reached the milestone of managing over 5,000 shows. Owner and President Scott Brickell said “It's been an honor to work alongside our artists, their crew, labels, agents, promoters, buyers and sponsors to accomplish this monumental landmark.”

Millard presented Scott Brickell with a commemorative plaque acknowledging the achievement at Disney's Night of Joy on September 8th, 2017. Ironically the show was almost cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.

BrickHouse Entertainment currently manages MercyMe, Phil Wickham, Micah Tyler, JJ Weeks Band and Travis Ryan and has previously managed and consulted many artists including Audio Adrenaline, Switchfoot, Rend Collective, Sidewalk Prophets, Fee, Addison Road, Matthew West, T-Bone, Monk & Neagle, Connersvine, Revive, Luminate, KB and Moriah Peters. BrickHouse also managed the Rock and Worship Roadshow from conception through the first six years of its existence.

Four-Time GRAMMY® Nominee Matthew West Drops Critically Lauded All In Today

West wins Second ASCAP Christian Music Songwriter of the Year Award, kicks off headlining tour with sold-out show in Houston

Premier Foundation Benefit Event Raises Over $400,000 for Charity

GREENVILLE, SC (Sept. 19, 2017) - The fifth annual “Perspective: A Jared Emerson Art Show & Benefit” raised more than $400,000 for the Premier Foundation’s Adopt the Block projects last week. 

This annual event furthers the mission of the Premier Foundation, the charitable arm of Premier Productions, which is committed to serving the world’s needy and impoverished. The event featured an art show and auction by nationally-acclaimed performance artist Jared Emerson and special guest artist TYP (a.k.a. Troy Murray). The evening included live music by Marvin Mumford & Friends and Kylie Odetta, silent and live auctions, and a direct gift request. Two paintings were completed by Emerson during the event: A portrait of NFL football legend “Mean Joe Greene” who attended the event and autographed the painting; and a portrait of Frank Sinatra painted backwards on glass. 

The event raised approximately $45,000 for the Premier Foundation and two key projects in Detroit and Greenville, SC.  Premier was also presented with a $400,000 special project grant from Overcome to complete funding for the Mount Nebo Bible Baptist Church and Community Center in New Orleans.

"We are excited to partner with the Premier Foundation,” says Jay Grubb, founder of Overcome. “The team at Premier is changing lives and making a difference on a global scale.”

“It is a blessing and an honor to partner with Overcome to put the final financial pieces in place for our project in New Orleans,” said Gene Krcelic, president of Premier Foundation. “When disaster strikes and the nation responds to a community’s needs, it is only a matter of time before another disaster strikes and those suffering from the old disaster are soon forgotten.  We have pledged to never forget those still struggling from yesterday’s disasters.  The Overcome grant will allow us to bring new life to the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans where Hurricane Katrina left so many without homes and hope.” 

In addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Greene, about325 donors and special guests were in attendance including:  Former college and NFL stars Champ Bailey, Boss Bailey, Tajh Boyd, Michael Dean Perry, Donnell Woolford, NBA star Antonio Davis, Tour de France and Olympic cyclist George Hincapie, and George Rogers, 1980 Heisman Trophy winner from South Carolina and Super Bowl Champion.

Over the prior four years, Perspective has raised more than $200,000 to help support the Foundation’s Adopt the Block program. This program identifies impoverished communities around the world where the Premier Foundation can make a significant impact. On-going projects include helping neighborhoods in the U.S and around the world - from Greenville, SC, New Orleans, and Detroit to Free Hill, Jamaica; Svay Pak, Cambodia; Nairobi, Kenya; and Nassau, Bahamas.

This year’s featured Adopt The Block projects included Fellow Countrymen, an organization in Greenville, S.C. that helps with housing, mentoring and employment of veterans suffering from PTSD in the area and The Hope Center in Detroit that comes alongside churches and organizations serving at-risk youth and the needs of their impoverished community.

USA Today and The Tennessean Exclusively Premiere Colton Dixon's "The Other Side", Song and Video Instill Message of Hope In Midst of Tragedy

Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2017) - USA Today and The Tennessean exclusively premiere Colton Dixon's latest music video, "The Other Side," from the artist's critically acclaimed Identity (March 24).

One of the most personal songs for Dixon from the album, the music video for "The Other Side" shares the powerful stories of two families reflecting on the passing of loved ones; Dixon's own wife's late brother, as well as a young fan touched by Dixon's music. The music video instills a sense of hope in the midst of tragedy.

"This music video means so much to me - to have my wife Annie and her family be a part of it, and to have Lexi's family there as well. It's so hard to put into words the emotion we felt filming that day," says Dixon. (Sept. 14, 2017) – Three-time EMMY® winner Kathie Lee Gifford will unveil The Little Giant, a new recording that tells the David & Goliath story in a contemporary yet timeless way, on Sept. 29. Asking reader's the question, "What does it mean to praise God?," Whitehead explains how the words from thousands of years ago can help us all grow in how we worship today.

"In the ancient world, something extraordinary would happen when God’s people would gather to worship Him," he says. "It was more than just singing; it was a declaration, a proclamation, a time to fully embody praise to God for who He is, and what He has done. In fact, in the Psalms, there are seven Hebrew words that are translated into the English word 'praise,' each of which represents a different aspect of what it means to truly praise God."

In HOLY ROAR, Tomlin and Whitehead share a fresh perspective from the worship practices of the ancient world. The book aims to grow readers in their understanding of praise as Whitehead offers unique insights, and be inspired as Tomlin shares how those insights take shape in the stories behind favorite worship songs, including “How Great is Our God,” “We Fall Down” and “Good Good Father.”

"One Sunday morning, Darren shared a message that transformed and deepened my understanding of praise and worship, changing the way I led worship from that day forward," recalls Tomlin. "There was a palpable difference in the congregation's expression of worship after Darren's message, and it made the experience all the more overwhelming. I kept thinking to myself, 'how have I been a part of writing and leading songs of worship and praise, and I am just now hearing this?' I am so honored to come alongside and share stories of how some of the songs I’ve been a part of relate with each of these seven words."

Chris Tomlin Continues History Making Year, Now as First Ever CCM Artist With Back-to-Back Nights at Historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 7, 2017) - On September 5th and 6th, GRAMMY® winner Chris Tomlin filled the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre two nights in a row, making history as the first Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artist with back-to-back shows at the historic venue.  This feat comes amidst a massive year for Tomlin, following his sold out Good Friday Nashville event this past April that made history as the largest ticketed Christian concert at Bridgestone Arena, and last fall, when Tomlin became the first Christian artist to receive the SoundExchange Digital Radio Award, recognizing more than 1 billion digital radio plays. Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks and Pitbull are the only other artists to have received this award.

Three-Time GMA Dove Award-Winner Christy Nockels To Release Be Held - Lullabies For The Beloved on September 29

Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2017) - Singer-songwriter/worship leader Christy Nockels announces the release of her upcoming album, Be Held - Lullabies For The Beloved, set to release September 29. The three-time GMA Dove Award-winner's newest compilation of songs contains both familiar melodies as well as original works penned by Nockels, and produced by husband and musical partner, Nathan.

Nashville, Tenn. (Aug. 31, 2017) – Known for being pioneers of modern worship, Irish band Rend Collective released their new single, “Rescuer (Good News)” to fans digitally on Friday, Aug. 25th. The first song off of their anticipated album, “Rescuer (Good News)” is set to impact radio on Sept. 1st.  

“There's a lot of bad news out there, but no matter what we have good news, and that good news has a name: Jesus Christ. Today there is nothing more powerful we can do in the darkness, in the bleakness, then proclaim the good news, then proclaim the gospel, and that’s why we wrote this song," says band member Gareth Gilkeson. "The good Lord came to seek and save and maybe that’s a message you need to hear today. Maybe you need to know that you can be rescued. A Personal Letter From Four-Time GRAMMY® Nominee Matthew West

Most personal album to date, All In, to release Sept. 22

West’s story might as well be our story too;  for that fear of regret, of not living life to the fullest, is in all of us...

I’m so excited to announce that my new record All In is going to release this September! For the past few records, I’ve embarked on a unique journey of storytelling that really flipped my creative process upside down and led to some of the most memorable musical moments of my life. After collecting thousands of true stories from around the world, an incredible conversation has taken place between me and the people out there listening to my music. Their stories have served as the inspiration for many of the songs I’ve written. In Nashville, they say, “It all starts with a song.” And I like to add to that by saying: Every song starts with a story. 

I began 2017 by spending several weeks in a cabin that Alan Jackson built. It resides on some land owned by some friends of mine, and they were kind enough to let me camp out. I was a little worried though, because every morning when I walked through the door of the cabin, I had the melody of “way down yonder on the Chattahoochee” stuck in my head. Fortunately, I was able to find new melodies in the making of this record. No offense, Alan! 

I surprised myself in that cabin by how personal my lyrics were coming out. I scared myself a bit, too. I guess it was just time. Time to take some inventory of my own story; where I’ve been, where I am now, and where I’m going. With “All In,” I’m now trusting you with more of my story than I’ve ever shared before. 

“The Sound of a Life Changing,” took me back to Assembly Hall Arena in Champaign, Illinois, attending a Steven Curtis Chapman concert and knowing that night that someday I would be up there on stage. I called Steven to join me at the cabin to write the song with me. How’s that for a full circle moment? 

Songs like “Something Greater,” came out of me while just thinking about the journey that’s led me to where I am and how God has always had a much bigger plan than I ever dreamed. “And I thought I moved to Nashville just to sign a record deal…” As the old saying goes, “Man plans, God laughs.” 

One of the most personal songs for me on this record is called, “The Beautiful Things We Miss.” I wrote it thinking about what it means for me to be All In as a husband and a father. A conversation I had once with Rev. Billy Graham still haunts me. I asked him if he had any regrets. He told me his biggest regret is that he spent so much time traveling away from his family. I don’t want to look back someday and find “everything that really mattered was right in front of me this whole time.” 

One of my personal favorite parts of the record isn’t even my own singing. It’s my daughter, Lulu’s. She came into the studio and recorded vocals on a special song that was inspired by my mom, as well as my wife, Emily. Just wait until you hear Lulu sing, “Anyone can see it’s true, I’m becoming me because of you.” 

Some of the songs on this record reference very specific stories of people I’ve come in contact with over the past couple of years. Eleven-year-old Brooke’s battle with cancer inspired the song “Never Ever Give Up.” “Power Love Sound Mind” is inspired by Bryan, a soldier who wrote to me about his struggle with PTSD, and Raven, who’s struggling to figure out how to move on after her mom passed away. “Dream Again” is inspired by the men and women who are going through drug and alcohol recovery—who I invite to my concerts as my VIP’s.

John 10:10 is an anchor verse for this record and for my life; Jesus tells us that he came to give us “life to the full.” I don’t know about you, but I want to taste and see what “life to the full” really is before it’s all said and done. I want to reach the end of the race with no regrets, no what-ifs. I want to stand before God, not as somebody who achieved perfection, but as someone who passionately pursued the God who passionately pursues me. I’m going All In.

Micah Tyler Set To Release Full Length Album Different (Oct. 20) On Heels Of Radio Hit, Full Touring Schedule, National TV Hit and GMA Dove Award New Artist Of The Year Nod

Nashville, Tenn. (Aug. 10, 2017) – Texas-based singer, songwriter Micah Tyler will release his first full-length record, Different, with Fair Trade Services on Oct. 20. Heralding the major release is Tyler’s six-track EP which released late last year and boasted “Never Been A Moment,” a No. 1 on multiple Christian radio formats. The title track “Different” was sent to radio on Friday with K-LOVE and Air 1 already supporting the single as it currently sits at No. 17 on the National Christian Audience Chart. 

The new album was initially announced on FOX Business where Tyler appeared in relation to the viral success of “Gotta Love Millennials” which has been viewed over 150 million times. During yesterday's Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Award Nomination announcement, Tyler was honored in the key New Artist Of The Year Category. The 48th annual GMA Dove Awards will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 17 in Nashville, Tenn. 

"Writing this record brought to the surface a lot of insecurities I’ve dealt with my entire life. Not feeling good enough. Psalm 139, David’s praise of being uniquely created felt more like a punishment to me,” Tyler says.“I want my life to look 'different' because of the difference Jesus has made. I’m ultimately learning to embrace who God has called and created me to be: Micah."
